From 25 to 27 April the North American CORDEX Program together with Ouranos, the National Center for Atmosphere Research, Iowa State University, and Cornell University organised a 3-day online workshop entitled ¨Use of Storylines from Regional Simulation for Climate Hazards and Stakeholder Engagement¨.

On the first day of the workshop, RECEIPT’s researcher, Jana Sillmann, from the University of Hamburg, was invited to give a keynote presentation called ¨Storylines – history and recent innovations¨. Her presentation included some of the latest developments in RECEIPT.

The aim of the workshop was ¨to develop a clear synthesis of the current status of storyline research, provide tangible examples of the use of storylines and to illustrate the symbioses with alternative methods of producing applications-relevant climate projections. (…) and advance the understanding and applications of storylines obtained from regional downscaling¨. Here you can find more information about the program.
